We are without internet for the most part because as of this morning, we are officially on an Alaska cruise! When our original Alaska cruise fell through two months ago I was devastated, mostly because we've been trying to make this happen for 7 years and this summer was kind of our only window for several more years. When Jared saw that many cruises were back up and running and prices had even dropped for the end of summer, he booked us a new cruise for the week before he starts work. We had to get negative covid tests within 2 days of departure (check) and we'll wear masks on board when we're not in our room, but I'm so grateful we get to do this. I just have this feeling that it could be several, seeeeveral years before we have the opportunity to do a good vacation like this again.
Well, gotta finish packing up (I'm writing this on Sunday and scheduling it to post tomorrow when we'll be gone). Pictures to come next week!
