Hiking Mt. Yonah

HEY I'M BLOGGING.

Jared's currently in a pediatrics rotation and his schedule is awesome. He only works 12 hours a WEEK, and he gets Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays off. Last Wednesday the weather was nice (winter in Georgia is going to ruin me), so we drove North to the Appalachians and spent the day hiking Mt. Yonah. There's an army base up there and we got to see dozens of army peeps rock climbing and practicing helicopter landings. Long live pediatrics rotation.

I keep promising my grandma that I'm about to start blogging regularly again, but it still hasn't happened. And yet here I am, making the same promise to the rest of you because I really am going to make it happen. Lemme see if I can give you a summary of my blogging hopes and dreams:

Some of you follow me on Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/simpletonpleasures/). If so, you've no doubt noticed that I've recently shifted what I'm doing over there. Instead of posting pictures of my everyday life, I am now posting satirical food fashion shots. This isn't just for funsies. I mean it is, but also I expect a return out of it someday. Growing a blog/instagram for income hasn't appealed to me in the past, but now it does. I think this odd new food-fashion direction I'm taking has more potential for growth than trying to grow a blog about my actual life. So anyway, I will continue to keep this blog going and post to it occasionally, but when I talk about blogging regularly, I mean that I'm going to start a new blog based on my current Instagram persona. I'll let you know when I start posting there!
